I have been a part of the Sunday School for the past 3 years. I joined to help kids in the community learn about their language and culture, and improve their Hindi skills.

India Sunday School has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. Not only have I been a student, but after graduating from the Certificate Course, I transitioned into becoming a culture teacher when I was 16 years old. For the past 9 years, I have taught kids from the ages of 5-12 years old. As a student, ISS has not only taught me just about India, but it has taught me to embrace my culture, has shaped whom I am today, and has fostered friendships that will last me a lifetime. As a teacher, I aspire to not only educate the students about India, but also help them to embrace who they are as Indian-American kids and help them discover their love for their heritage.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy Teaching in India Sunday School because of the lovely Hindi language, vibrant Hindi culture, world-famous culture and music of India, and magical children of the School
